This is a photo of me giving a presentation of data to the research team. In our study, I had three roles, as the primary researcher, co-researcher, and student participant. Additionally, the professor, Dr. Sosin, also held multiple roles, serving in the capacity of the course instructor and research expert consultant.
Dr. Deacon inspiring her students. I was given the opportunity to be her model in Advanced Career Counseling COUC 850. Trying on her regalia was a moving moment for me. I added this image to my persistence plan.
In retrospect, I was so anxious. This was my first-time teaching at the doctoral level for Dr. Volk’s Advanced Research Design (COUN 740). He was kind. Dr. Volk provided support before and structured feedback after. I grew from this experience and for that I am thankful.
